Description: GameStop has an opening for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for the NFT/Blockchain team. The Business Intelligence Engineer provides the data analytics and data science behind our anti-money laundering (AML), Fraud, and sanctions screening systems. You will build and tune queries for identification of suspicious activity, model test the rules, and provide reporting. The Business Intelligence Engineer will assist with identification of trends in fraud activity and proactive detection controls to mitigate the risk of fraud. Roles and Responsibilities

• This role is responsible for delivering analysis and insights to support the decisions to maintain a comprehensive AML/BSA Models to monitor transactional activity for GameStop globally.
• Acquire and build data tables and create ETL's for AML and Fraud transaction monitoring
• Collaborate with different teams across the company including engineering, security, and compliance to build AML intelligence. Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree with a concentration in Data Analytics; Finance; Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Statistics/Mathematics
  • Experience and knowledge of analytical techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, and random forest
  • Experience with MySQL and with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or other solutions
  • Experience with data analysis, data validations, data integration/ETL technologies, data structures and business analysis
  • Have the passion and drive to apply engineering, machine learning and statistical skills to solving sophisticated business problems
  • Have domain expertise in AML, Fraud, and Sanctions Preferred Skills and Experience
    • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to embrace reality and execute quickly
    • Utilizes proven methods of analysis (inductive and deductive) to determine the root cause of issues and identify/evaluate alternatives
    • Solves complex problems within and beyond his/her direct responsibility
    • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of compliance systems
    • Possesses knowledge of the challenges for a data cleansing and integration #LI-TS1
