Job Description:
As a Casualty Claims Examiner at GEICO, leverage your expertise
in the insurance arena to handle and resolve complex personal and
commercial casualty claims efficiently. Your role is integral in
our commitment towards innovation and customer satisfaction,
ensuring precise and empathetic claim processing. You will work in
a dynamic environment, continuously striving for excellence in
customer service and claims accuracy, aligning with GEICO’s goal of
providing outstanding insurance solutions. Evaluate and process
casualty claims by investigating the circumstances and liability
involved. Determine coverage and extent of company liability, and
authorize appropriate payment. Interact with policyholders,
claimants, and witnesses to gather pertinent claim information.
Negotiate settlements with claimants or their legal
representatives. Collaborate with external and internal assessors
and adjusters. Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and
documentation. Stay informed of changes in the regulatory
environment and adjust practices accordingly. Strong analytical and
decision-making skills Excellent negotiation and communication
skills Proficiency in claim management software Deep understanding
of casualty insurance policies and coverage Medical Insurance
