Clerk (Tax Season Support) Job Type: Temporary Assignment Pay Rate:
$16.50 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment Dates: Immediate start through April 30, 2026 Location:
Waco, TX Position Overview A busy tax office is seeking a Temporary
Scanning & Data Entry Clerk to assist during peak tax season. This
role requires someone who is immediately available , dependable,
and able to jump in quickly to help organize and process client
documents. The assignment is expected to run from now through the
end of April 2026 . Key Responsibilities Scan client tax documents
accurately into the system Organize electronic files and verify
document clarity/completeness Perform data entry of client
information and tax-related details Maintain confidentiality of
sensitive financial information Assist staff with general clerical
tasks as needed Keep work area organized and follow office
procedures Qualifications Prior experience scanning documents is
REQUIRED Previous data entry or office support experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work efficiently
in a fast-paced office environment Basic computer skills and
comfort learning new systems quickly Must be reliable and available
