Position Title: Traveling Superintendent – Ground-Up Commercial Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Overview A leading general contractor specializing in ground-up commercial construction projects over $10M is seeking a skilled Traveling Superintendent . This is a true road warrior role for a construction professional who thrives in the field, is comfortable with extended travel, and is passionate about delivering high-quality commercial projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Lead on-site construction operations for large-scale ground-up commercial projects Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients Manage day-to-day activities to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to quality standards Maintain strict safety protocols and enforce compliance at all job sites Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents Conduct daily site walks, manage punch lists, and oversee quality control Act as the face of the company on the jobsite, ensuring a professional and efficient build Qualifications 7 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects Proven experience managing projects over $10M Strong knowledge of all phases of construction and subcontractor coordination Comfortable working and traveling extensively for extended project durations Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficient in construction management software (Procore preferred) OSHA 30 Certification required Valid driver's license and clean driving record Compensation & Perks Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Paid travel expenses Daily per diem provided Company vehicle or allowance Comprehensive benefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k) Paid time off and holidays If you have a track record of success with large, complex projects and want to be part of a company that values long-term growth and development, we encourage you to apply.
