Responsibilities--- providing excellent 5 star customer service--- performing general preventative maintenance including greasing and lubing of dock and door equipment. Ensuring clean levelers and proper tension on overhead doors.--- recommending the correct service and repair actions for all faults found--- Safely operating power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks.--- Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs; warranty procedures and other duties as assigned.--- Assists other Technicians in repairs--- Comply with Safety and OSHA proceduresRequirements: --- Winning attitude and great communication skills--- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred--- Valid Driver's License - Clean DMV record--- 3 years of proven forklift equipment repair--- Proficient electronic, mechanical and hydraulic repair.--- North Texas based.--- Willing to learn new methods of working with others and on equipment--- Must be able to read codes, instructions and electrical and hydraulic schematics.--- Must possess own basic set of tools, w/ necessary additional tools provided*This job description is subject to change at any time.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The work is performed in various locations, including warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, refineries and hospital settings. Employees may work with co-workers' side-by-side with a moderate level of activity being performed. Exposure to high voltage AC/DC power is very common in many work environments.
