Job Description Job Description Open Assembly Position Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (off every other Friday) General Assembler – Sand/Buff (1 Opening) Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled General Assembler with sanding and buffing experience, preferably within the aerospace or defense manufacturing industry. This role involves precision surface finishing of mechanical parts while meeting strict quality and workmanship standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform sanding, deburring, and buffing operations on precision mechanical parts Prepare parts for subsequent assembly, bonding, or finishing processes Handle physically demanding, hands-on work in a manufacturing environment Follow detailed work instructions, routers, and quality requirements Maintain consistent workmanship to aerospace quality standards Inspect parts visually to ensure surface finish and compliance Required Qualifications: Mechanical assembly experience required Aerospace or defense industry experience strongly preferred Experience working with close-tolerance parts and high-quality standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions Physical Requirements: Ability to perform continuous manual labor Lift, handle, and manipulate parts as required Stand for long durations during the shift
