Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: The National Accounts Executive will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with decision makers in Federal Government (GSA contract) client arena, he/she will be responsible for placing our commercial product lines of water purification (POU) and ice equipment in a specified national territory.

This position will come with the responsibility of managing all qualified business within that territory, from heavy prospecting/lead generation in person, over the phone, via internet or social media, to coordinating free demonstrations of the products to sales placement to customer relations. This position also requires consistent communication and contact with the VP of National Accounts and Regional managers, attend appropriate Company Meetings, Trade Shows, Business Development functions, etc. Please refer to the training manual for further detail about this position and its requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a complete understanding of pricing, price strategy and overall marketing concepts, as defined by the National and International foodservice customer(s)
Enter required data into CRM system to document daily all pertinent sales activity, account updates, client information, and additional sales reporting documentation as defined by department SOPs
Meet and exceed corporate assigned quotas
Develop existing customers qualified as potential National Accounts
Develop existing prospects from CRM into National Accounts
Develop self-generated leads and prospect list into National Accounts

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years business-to-business, national accounts and outside sales experience is REQUIRED
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to sell on value and features
Familiar with the RFP process and vendor portal communications
Strong negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Must be able to communicate electronically and willing to travel to customer locations within territory
Must be able to function professionally from a home or local business office (computer, internet)
Strong presentation skills
Clear, concise communication skills with relentless follow up and follow through capabilities
Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data in an efficient and easily communicated format
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and pass Microsoft proficiency online test
Willing to work hard while having fun in a fast paced, rapidly growing, business environment
Higher education or degree is preferred
