Description:You will be a Software Engineering Manager for the
Aeronautics Sensor Fusion Functional Domain.

As a Software Engineering Manager (L5) at Aeronautics, you will
play a critical role serving as a Leader accountable for the
support of the sensor fusion function across Aeronautics
programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
--- Coordinate staffing and training for specific areas of sensor
fusion engineers activities across multiple programs
--- Shape software development processes and technology
--- Ensure capability development meets schedule and quality
goals
--- Ensure the successful development of our team and position them
for growth
--- Develop strong leads that will own each sub-discipline within
sensor fusion (e.g., sensor tasking, correlation, combat
identification, etc.)
--- Be responsible to develop a program centric culture of
readiness, process adherence, and completed staff work
--- Ensure adherence to financial targets
--- Represent the organization during customer events and
audits
--- Lead the development of metrics to fully understand the health
of readiness
There will be an expectation to lead multiple fusion and software
related disciplines. The ideal candidate for this position will be
a strong leader that understands the nuances of motivating a team
in a highly complex environment. This person will also have strong
analytical thinking and business acumen skills, be highly
collaborative, exhibit exceptional organizational skills,
demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as
appropriate, and produce superior work products under short
deadlines.
A previous background in sensor fusion, and / or project
engineering will be highly valuable.
This role may require infrequent travel, extended hours, and
possible weekend/off-hour support. Our team supports programs that
may require additional special access in addition to a DoD Secret
clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
--- Experience in Full Spectrum leadership role
--- Ability to work independently and develop a strong support
network across organizations
--- Active DoD SECRET Clearance with an Investigation within the
last 5 years
--- Bachelor's Degree (STEM degree preferred)
Desired Skills:
--- Previous experience in sensor fusion sub-domain(s) (e.g., state
estimation, fusion architecture, combat identification,
correlation, sensor tasking) is highly desired.
--- Previous experience in Software Management and / or Program
Management
--- Proven ability to interface effectively with different levels
of management and multiple disciplines
--- CAM / EVMS execution knowledge and experience
--- Ability to coordinate and influence across a broad range of
stakeholders
--- Experience with high level (Director / Sr Mgr) presentations
and briefings
--- Positive/self-starting attitude that is not slowed by perceived
roadblocks
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5
years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
