The Trauma Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Medical City Dallas, Medical City Dallas Children's and Trauma Services. In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family and other members of the health care team, the trauma nurse lead assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans. Demonstrates strong trauma clinical assessment, nursing intervention, and strong communication/leadership skills. • One (1) year experience in trauma nursing care.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN required within 24 months of hire into position
  • Current RN License in the State of Texas or multi-state compact license.
  • AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS and PALS required
  • ENPC and TNCC required
