Description Hematology / Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse
(RN)Schedule: Nights- 7PM -7AM, rotating weekends At Sarah Cannon

key part in our continued success. Your role:Hematology/Bone Marrow
Transplant (BMT) is an acute care unit where you will deliver
phenomenal care for adult hematologic-oncology, autologous and
allogeneic blood and marrow transplantation patients, and patients
receiving CAR T-cell therapy. In this role, you will be asked to
provide the following services:\tChemotherapy/Biotherapy
administration and management, including investigational
protocols\tTransfusion of blood, platelets and fresh frozen
plasma\tManagement of patients with radiation implants, central
venous access devices and spinal drains\tBone marrow biopsy and
aspiration\tThoracentesis and paracentesis\tEpidural and
intrathecal analgesia\tManagement of toxicities r/t
chemotherapy/biotherapy/radiation therapy and neutropenia/
thrombocytopenia/ anemia\tAntibiotic/Medication
therapies\tAutologous and Allogeneic Blood and Marrow
Transplant\tBone marrow harvest recovery\tPain Management and
telemetry monitoring Responsibilities/Qualifications:Diploma or
Associate Degree from a professional nursing programBSN is required
within 24 months of hireCurrent RN license in the State of Texas or
compact licenseCurrent American Heart Association BLS providerACLS
required within one year of hire or transferPALS preferredONS
Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 1 year
of hire At least one year of RN experience ICU or BMT/hematology is
