• Utilize a systematic approach to provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient.
• Develop and implement teaching plans for patients concerning promotion, maintenance and restoration of health.
• Evaluate the patient's responses and outcomes to therapeutic interventions.
• Act as patient advocate to ensure patient safety in the clinical practice environment. What Qualifications you will need:
  • Associate's Degree required, BSN required within 24 months of hire into an RN position
  • Current RN license in the State of TX required, compact license is okay
  • BLS, Basic Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care hospital within the last 3 years
