Job Description Location: Fort Worth, Texas is a vibrant city located in North Central Texas, part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, one of the largest urban areas in the United States. Facility: Hospital providing a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical procedures, specialty treatments, and wellness programs. Opportunity: - Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist ASAP - Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month - Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5-hour shifts/month (still benefit eligible) - Seeking a provider who can start with an active Texas license as soon as possible - Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists - Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload - Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually - Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year - Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting - Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies - Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care - Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage - Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies. - Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections - Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit Compensation: - Compensation rate: To be discussed at interview - Sign-on bonus (with full-time employment) - $ for relocation, if applicable - Health Insurance including prescription drugs - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - Short- and Long-Term disability options - Employee stock purchase program –discount* - 401k with company match - Pre-tax Health Savings Account (HSA) - Pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Aflac Hospital, Critical Illness and Accident plans - Identity Protection - Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
