An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic surgical environment. This contract position requires expertise in various surgical specialties including orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, robotics, and endoscopy. The role focuses on supporting surgical teams by circulating and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Location Granbury, Texas, offers a charming community with rich history and access to outdoor activities, including nearby lakes and parks. The area provides a welcoming atmosphere and a balance of small-town living with convenient amenities. Responsibilities Provide circulating support in a 6-OR and 2-endoscopy room setting Maintain patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures Collaborate closely with surgical teams in orthopedic, gynecologic, general surgery, robotic, and endoscopy cases Perform paper charting accurately and efficiently Adhere to strict infection control and safety standards Participate in daily surgical workflow with a 1:1 patient ratio Qualifications and Experience Current RN licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required Minimum of 2 years of OR circulating experience preferred Proficient in orthopedic, gynecology, general surgery, robotics XI, and endoscopy procedures Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify Ability to work day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5 PM Contract Details Contract position with no block scheduling or floating assignments Limited paid time off (max 2 days allowed) Scrubs provided on site This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OR nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative surgical setting.
