Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Grapevine, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,291 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Reg Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: TX RRT, RCP Certifications: BLS (AHA Only), ACLS (AHA Only), PALS (AHA Only) Must-Have: Adult Critical Care experience Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist has advanced knowledge and training of the cardiopulmonary system to manage and treat patients. Therapists will use different scientific principles, therapies, and techniques to optimize patient care and outcomes. Performs and directs the administration of respiratory care services as ordered by a patient's attending physician in a quality manner that adheres to established procedures. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations as needed. Reviews physician's orders, analyzes patient's diagnostic test results, and provides appropriate therapy based on the patient's current clinical condition. Implements approved protocols as directed by the physician when appropriate. Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapy, prioritizing patient needs in a rapidly changing environment. Instructs patients in the use of various respiratory care equipment in a thorough and professional manner. Assesses patient response to therapy and coaches the patient to improve technique. Documents all treatments and therapies administered, including any supplies used, and accurately files all corresponding charges. Reports outcomes of therapeutic interventions and makes recommendations as appropriate. Adheres to established policies including infection control and isolation policies, time and attendance, and confidentiality regulations. Collaborates professionally with other healthcare professionals and students. Takes responsibility and initiative to understand and fulfill any professional or technical requirements set by leadership. Incorporates principles of continuous quality improvement in all aspects of clinical care, identifying opportunities for enhancement as appropriate. Demonstrates general understanding of respiratory care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications. Possesses the ability to read, write, and follow flow chart protocols as needed. Capable of working under stressful conditions with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Displays general computer skills, including typing, information security, electronic medical documentation, handheld scanning, and email.
