Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized opportunity is available for registered nurses with neonatal intensive care experience in Dallas, Texas. This travel role focuses on providing expert care in a busy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a leading hospital. Candidates will be part of a highly skilled team delivering critical care to newborns requiring intensive monitoring and support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in a 108-bed NICU with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4. - Utilize advanced neonatal equipment such as nasal cannulas, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs. - Accurately document patient information using CPN and Meditech systems. - Adhere to scheduling requirements of three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends and holidays. - Be prepared to float to related pediatric critical care areas such as PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU when needed.
