Job Description:

The Sales Recruiter II is a proactive, dynamic, adaptable, and organized recruiter who helps identify a mix of active and passive candidates to recruit and hire exceptional talent for the Paycom sales team. The recruiter has a working knowledge of the business, policies and technology of Paycom and specializes in finding the right person for the right outside sales position within the company. The sales recruiter is responsible for talent prospecting, evaluation and screening for all sales positions, managing the talent acquisition process through to completion for each requisition, from job advertising and posting to staffing and hiring. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using databases, networking and employee referrals
  • Anticipate hiring needs and search for candidates in advance of need, building a pipeline of future potential candidates
  • Analyze resumes for relevant skills, knowledge and qualifications
  • Conduct screening interviews to obtain information from applicants on work history, education and job skills and provide feedback to the leader on competency and fit for the position
  • Cultivate relationships and communicate with all individuals in the hiring process, informing them about the company, position, benefits, working conditions and other job-related information
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates
  • Assist leaders in developing interview questions and in hiring exceptional talent for the Paycom team
  • Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates
  • Post available positions on internal and external sites
  • Coordinate with external recruiting agencies regarding available positions and candidates
  • Represent Paycom at employment fairs
  • Build sourcing pipelines and networks for targeted talent pools
  • Identify market trends that impact targeted talent pools
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
  • Act as a mentor to Level I recruiters as neededEducation/Certification:
    • Bachelors Degree in business administration, sales, human resources or other related field of studyExperience:
      • 3 years of experience in software sales sourcing, software sales recruiting, sales recruiting or talent acquisition or previous involvement in the hiring process as a leader or manager.
      • Must be able to handle high-volume, fast-pace, and a collaborative environment under direct supervision
      • Experience working in a metrics-driven, corporate environment
      • Experience working within an applicant tracking systemSkills/Abilities:
        • Must be able to handle high-volume, fast-pace, and a collaborative environment under direct supervision
        • Ability to work well in a metrics driven environment
        • Basic knowledge of applicant tracking
        • Basic knowledge of current recruitment practices
        • Confidence in dealing with people both face-to-face and over the phone
        • Exceptional verbal and written communication ability
        • Strong time management
