Job Description: Senior Software Engineer (EDW) designs, implements, and leads data initiatives and ETL solutions, which include the use of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. These solutions support enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, data science, and other business interests. Responsibilities: As part of the Enterprise Datawarehouse team, your responsibilities will include: Lead requirements gathering meetings with application teams, Database Administrators, and/or business partners to understand business needs Responsible for the entire flow of the data into the Data Warehouse. Responsible for developing Informatica IICS packages used in the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for EDW. Developing and maintaining the Operational data stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and associated data intelligence environments including data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories Designing and implementing performance data movement pipelines using multiple ETL tools with batch and real-time event data streams (Databricks, Informatica, Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, AWS Kinesis, SQL Packages, etc.) Gathering business and information requirements from various product owners across various functional units Conducting design review sessions and communicating design artifacts with stakeholders. Ensures database features and capabilities are incorporated into data model designs to optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability. Delivering and presenting proofs of concept of key technology components to project stakeholders and internal technology leaders Problem-solving of Data warehouse and ODS application issues and production errors, including high-level critical production issues that require immediate attention. Create and optimize data structures for reporting and data integration. Contribute and participate in discussions with the implementation of metadata tools for EDW (business glossary, data lineage) Perform design implementation and support of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and data structures within all layers of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. Will be leading a small team of offshore resources to drive data projects end to end. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, business, or a related field 8 years of related experience in large corporate system environments working with large and complex data warehouse systems. Strong experience using an Informatica Power Center, IICS, data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and governance tools. Must have min experience with Data bricks/Snowflake. Must have strong knowledge of AWS/AZURE/GCP Familiar with designing data warehouses for metrics-driven Business Intelligence and reporting. Experience with NO SQL/Columnar database is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication is a must. Solid understanding of transaction and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, and MDM methodologies Extensive hands-on technical knowledge of Data Warehouse Architecture, ETL, Oracle & Teradata Server databases.
