Description:Job SummaryUnder direction of Plant Management, individual will have knowledge of manufacturing and packing equipment. Be able to repair minor building structures. Must be familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC's. Plumbing, welding, and electrical experience preferred. Activities can include: parts inventory and using M/S Windows to record PM's and other Maintenance activities.This individual will also assist in leading other maintenance technicians as they are assigned. S/He will be responsible for their day to day assignments and monitoring their projects. S/He will keep the Plant Manager informed of all aspects of the maintenance operations.Minimum requirements: Required to build, repair and maintain high speed packaging equipment and conveyor systems. Make sound purchases of parts and materials Understanding PLC's Required to repair pumps, gears, fans, compressors. Able to read blueprints, schematics and programmable logic controls. Required to maintain the everyday facility needs. Experience in welding, troubleshooting and electrical is required. Able to work flexible hours at times. Monitor On-Site repair contractors. Reports to Plant ManagerExpectations/Other skills for this position: Good work history, positive attitude, good attendance record and proven work ethic.
