Job Description:

The Paycom Executive Recruiter is considered an expert in sourcing, attracting and acquiring talent for managerial and above positions. They must be proactive, dynamic, adaptable, and organized in order to help design, develop, and execute sourcing strategies to build a highly qualified candidate pool and strong succession pipelines. This position promotes Paycom's image as a desirable place to work and communicates Paycom's competitive compensation package. The Executive Recruiter also acts as an advisor and mentor to less experienced recruiters on the team.



  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership in establishing sourcing strategies to include: detailed market intelligence around competitors, industry movement, compensation packages and pipeline strategies
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and relationship management for succession planning
  • Collaborate with Marketing in the design of plans and campaigns specific to executive requisitions
  • Provide reports, key findings and research to all parties involved in management searches empowering them with data to influence the business and hiring managers on necessary changes to ensure success in filling the role
  • Provide mentorship, support, advice and coaching to other team members
  • Travel to new or challenging markets to advise and coach hiring managers, with the support of HRBPs
  • Conduct sourcing support to other recruiters on hard to fill supervisory and above positions
  • Create and socialize sourcing strategies through social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, company targets, referrals, etc.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and communicate feedback to unsuccessful candidates
  • Conduct talent evaluation and screening to asses candidate qualification match and cultural fit and present qualified candidates to leadership for further consideration
  • Offer guidance to hiring managers on candidate selection and follow the candidate negotiation process through to completion
  • Ensure all sourcing practices comply with all local and US federal legal requirements and Paycom's Affirmative Action Plan (EEOC, OFCCP plans, etc.)
  • Represent Paycom in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours
  • May establish and maintain partnerships with executive level search firms or other placement agencies when necessary.


  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in a related discipline (Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, etc.)


  • 8+ years of managerial level or executive recruiting, corporate or staffing industry experience
  • Prior experience mining resume databases utilizing Boolean strings for maximum results
  • Successful track record of attracting and acquiring leadership roles with emphasis on Manager level and above talent.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting tight deadlines and/or recruiting goals

  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, recruiting software and candidate databases
  • Strong understanding of recruiting processes and ability to create sourcing strategies specific to managerial levbel positions
  • Advise on compensation packages that attract top managerial talent
  • Deep web sourcing techniques
  • PC Proficiency Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet, Applicant Tracking Systems, Social Media Platforms
