Job Description:

The primary job duty of the L&D Senior Corporate Learning Partner is driving employee performance and increased business results through collaborative discovery, design, development, and implementation of tailored learning solutions. Working directly with business unit leaders, the Senior Corporate Learning Partner will work to find and lead efficiencies in the new hire programs and continued education for their assigned department; all to drive better, measurable, and efficient results for the business unit. The job requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment to work with business leaders, project stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and learners to understand learning requirements, translate those requirements into deliverable and effective learning experiences, and to deliver instruction, coaching, and strategic support to drive business improvement through learning.

  • Understand the business objectives of the assigned business unit by working with business leaders to understand current performance metrics, business imperatives, aspirational goals, and serve as a strategic partner to formulate learning strategies to support achievable business improvement.
  • Utilize adult learning principles to design learning programs and ensure effective knowledge transfer, retention, and skill proficiency in areas of critical performance; design and implement measures to test effectiveness, ensure continual improvement, and monitor for opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and conduct thorough, data-driven, and actionable needs assessments to determine appropriate learning methodology to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Create and deploy training materials, in support of the appropriate learning methodology, such as business process guides, best practice statements, learning courses, and leader performance support resources in a variety of appropriate media.
  • Facilitate instructional presentations, with clear and concise communication
  • Maintain an understanding of the primary functions and objectives of the roles within the business unit and tailor learning solutions accordingly
  • Perform as an important, strategic partner in working with the business unit leader to assist that leader in understanding achievable, strategic business impacts and connect all learning activities with the business impact, and initiatives within the department and Paycom to drive those initiatives.
  • Model role-specific skills at a high-level of proficiency both in the classroom and during live, on-the-job coaching sessions
  • Using expert level knowledge of the business unit to coach employees directly to accelerate their development and drive increased business results.
  • Design analysis of, aggregate, and present performance results to employees direct leaders; using this carefully designed performance result, collaborate with business unit leaders on appropriate next steps for development and improved performance to increase performance.
  • Execute Learning & Development training programs through a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, PowerPoint, Paycoms Learning Management System, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams
  • Partner with members of L&D and other SMEs within the departments for content creation and maintenance
  • Present feedback, recommendations, or brainstorm departmental and/or organizational challenges with executive-level leaders
  • Vision cast and connect all learning activities with the business impact of their role, department, and Paycom initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional professional development trainings for team members within Learning & DevelopmentQUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:
    • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, Communication, or Education strongly preferredExperience Required:
      • 4 years of experience in a role related to learning, training or HR, or a role directly related to assigned department required, or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredSkills/Abilities:
