About the job ABOUT THE JOB: At Danone North America, manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire a Senior Quality Assurance Supervisor based in Dallas, Texas! In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and maintaining the compliance to internal and external audits and certifications. This position is also responsible for maintaining the quality and food safety system in order to comply with internal and external audit requirements. Internal and external audit requirements include but are not limited to the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance for Grade A milk and milk products, GFSI (SQF and/or FSSC 22000), USDA National Organic Program, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, RSPO, UTZ, Validus, Kosher, Interstate Milk Shippers Survey Audit, Customer Audits, Texas Department of State Health Services, FDA inspections and Danone FSI standards. About you ABOUT YOU: You have a bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology or related field, required.
You have 3-5 years of laboratory or quality assurance experience, preferably in the food or food-related industry, required. Exposure or understanding of Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO), PCQI certification and/or knowledge of FMSA is desired.
You have experience supervising QA and/or laboratory technicians, required.
You have i nterpersonal and communication skills required to interact with all levels of plant personnel and be comfortable working with minimal supervision. Under minimal direction, works independently toward department objectives. You have demonstrated experience being an effective leader of people. You have the ability to read and interpret both electronic and manual (circular) process charts. You have the ability to comprehend and follow work instructions, flow diagrams, protocols, and standard operating procedures. You have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization (including Senior Leadership). You must be capable of managing business-critical functions in a calm and systematic fashion. You are organized and analytical, with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
