Cox Automotive, a leader in the automotive service sector, is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic Shop Manager to oversee our fast-paced mechanic shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring the efficient running of the shop, and delivering high-quality service that aligns with Cox Automotives standards. This role requires an individual who combines strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise in automotive mechanics to enhance our service offerings and drive customer satisfaction. Oversee daily shop operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Manage team of mechanics and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Coordinate with parts suppliers and maintain inventory levels. Develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency and increased profitability. Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring quality of service and addressing issues promptly. Prepare and manage the budget for the mechanic shop. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements. Strong leadership and team management skills Extensive knowledge of automotive mechanics and industry standards Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills Proficiency in shop management software Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification in Automotive Management or a similar area preferred
