Job Description:
Inside Sales Executive
Janel Group is seeking an Inside Sales Executive (ISE) to generate
new business and create a client portfolio. The ISE will be
responsible for lead generation, selling transportation solutions,
customer satisfaction, effective communication with customers, and
providing exceptional customer service. Excellent negotiating
skills and market knowledge are critical to ensuring that financial
objectives are achieved.
The position is based in our Grapevine, TX office.
Primary Responsibilities - Inside Sales Executive:
Develop and maintain partnerships with shippers across the country
through cold and warm calling
Accountable to meet/exceed business development key performance
indicators (KPIs) for sales and business development
Identify client shipping needs and obstacles, then create and
execute solutions for the client while achieving financial
objectives
Leverage market research to identify trends, threats and
opportunities within markets to best serve our carriers and clients
while achieving the required financial return for the
organization
Develop warm leads and execute follow-up calls to prospects
Maintain daily customer relationships as the primary point of
contact
Update the system(s) in accordance with expectations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Inside Sales Executive:
1-3 years of relevant experience in domestic transportation sales,
required
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales or logistics, preferred
Excellent communication and negotiating skills, required
Bilingual skills, preferred
